Identity as a Hong Kong Citizen Remains Strong

A survey report released on December 21, 2006 by the Public Opinion Programme of the University of Hong Kong shows that, amongst the 1,000 Hong Kong interviewees, the identity as a Hong Kong citizen remains stronger than the identity as a Chinese citizen, indicating that we Hong Kong people always see ourselves as Hong Kongers instead of Chinese.
